Muncar is a city of the coastal bank that’s really rich in results of the sea. It could be said that the income of the Banyuwangi regency is much more received from tax income of abundant wealth of the Muncar sea, compared to the other areas. The income of the community there is relatively high. The people lifestyle is glamour and tends to be a big spender. Extravagance for them has become a tradition, especially as they just get the fish in a huge quantity. In their view, money is for happy today and tomorrow they could look for it again. As a result of this real material philosophy of life most of people there don't care about ethics, aesthetics and the cleanliness of the environment. They don’t care of the good manners courtesy if it’s apparently twisted. They more like to speak directly  to the subject of the problem without any bull-shit. Please note this, they are used to carry out the trade transaction quickly. They look like to give no appreciation to the beautifullnes if it couldn’t make any finance profit.

Muncar has no beautiful places of recreation. And the people there personally are not interested to visit these kind of places. Their time is always seized to see the overflow of the fish that imported much money.

If you agree to come there you will know how dirty and smelly it is. And you might see many people put rotten fish in the side of the road bank to dry. Even more when the fish season has come. I hope you who rides a motorcycle there, please ride it slowly not more than 20 km per hour. Or, it could be confirmed, you will fall slipped. Why? All the roads there become slippery. Because Lemuru fish blood that’s rich in content of oil, spilled and scattered on the roads. Imagine that, how embarrassed and smelly you are if you fell down the road there.

For many Muncar inhabitants the dirty and smelly environment is no problem. This situation is considered as a God bless and could make money fast by means of making use of all places to put the rotten fish in the sun to dry. So your any suggestions to make them aware to the clean and beautiful environment, are no use at all. They, off course, won’t want to hear you. Because those may threaten their daily livelihood.

The matter that most made sense to overcome this problem is essentially depended on the Banyuwangi Regional Government policies.

Therefore, in this forum I wanna ask Banyuwangi Regional Government to handle the case:

1. Give attention more serious in restructuring the Muncar city layout. Please get up the layout of the Muncar city so the location of industries area was not associate with the location of the inhabitants settlement.
2. The Government should prepare an integrated wastewater treatment plant (WWTP). During this waste of each factory poured directly into the river which flows into the Muncar waters.
3. Control the big foot vehicles not to pass the roads and disrupt the smoothness of the traffic flows. In this case the government must immediately build the container station that far enough from the Muncar city for the sake of loading and unloading goods. 
4. Straighten out may damaged roads, improve water channels. So Muncar is no longer acknowledged as the smelly and dirty city
